Principles and Standards in Vehicle Safety Standards
We follow Construction Logistics and Community Safety (CLOCS) and Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) principles — and we expect all our staff to respect and adopt them.
All our vehicles are Ultra Low Emission Scheme-exempt (ULEZ).
What is CLOCS?
The CLOCS is a collaboration between the construction and fleet sectors.
In a nutshell, it draws together best practices from a number of standards, policies and codes of practice to create a single industry standard — to be implemented and applied by regulators, contractors, and fleet operators.
Thus, we aim for zero collisions, reduced emissions, and fewer vehicle journeys where possible. As an enterprise that complies fully with CLOCS, all our employees must demonstrate exacting standards of safe driving and vehicle operation.
What is FORS?
This is a voluntary accreditation scheme for fleet operators that aims to raise standards across the board in businesses that use vehicles for their work. The objective is to achieve exemplary levels in safety, efficiency and environmental protection.
We believe that our compliance to FORS enables us to stand out from the crowd.
Why? Because it demonstrates our commitment to best practice, accountability, sustainability issues, and many other aspects of corporate social responsibility.
