Our Remit
Home Republic was tasked with transforming a typical 3-bedroom semi-detachedhouse into a spacious 4-bedroom luxury home, packed with modern smart featuresand filled with natural light. The project involved a complete renovation andexpansion, including a side extension, loft conversion, and a full reconfiguration ofthe ground and first floors. The goal was to create a more functional, elegant livingspace while making the most of the property’s elevated location with views over thegreen areas of Bromley.
What We Did
The renovation included a massive kitchen-diner and a separate living room, both of which open onto a raised patio through ultra-slim Origin sliding doors. A glass balustrade enhances the view of the garden, while a tiled staircase provides access to the garden and the newly redeveloped front driveway. The 500 square foot loft conversion added a master bedroom and luxurious bathroom with Juliette balconies offering dual-aspect views. The side extension created space for an additional bedroom, a utility room, and extra kitchen volume. High-end features like polished plaster, glass balustrades, oak staircases, and smart home technologies, such as Lightwave switches and Heat miser heating controls, were integrated into the design, all connected to the Apple Home App for seamless operation.
The Result
The project was completed over a 7-month period, resulting in a stunning modernized home that exceeded the client’s expectations. Peter, the homeowner, praised Home Republic’s attention to detail, cleanliness, and professionalism throughout the project.
