2012

After several years in high-end roles within the construction sector, Alex Strikovs and Igor Mirosnikovs decided that the time was now to be in charge of their own destiny and transform the traditional image of the construction sector.

Thanks to their expertise as project managers in commercial construction for several major developers in the UK, Alex and Igor had just the right experience to make this important transition.

Welcome to the world, Home Republic!

Our first home renovation contract in Waterloo took place that year for 70 thousand pounds. Since then, the business has developed into an operation with a multi-million turnover and continues to enjoy year-on-year growth.

2013

Our first logo takes shape. Here it is:

This year saw our first significant tender win: a fit-out project for the Hotel Rafayel on the Left bank of the river Thames.

2014

Home Republic builds a luxurious 4,000 sq. ft penthouse over the top of the Falcon Wharf building in Battersea. At the time it was a 370 thousand pounds project which generated 4 and a half million pounds in revenue for our client.

2015

We signed a maintenance contract with Commandment Managing Agents to undertake a complete renovation of Woodland Crescent residential estate in Canada Water.

The total number of residential construction projects increased to 15 per year.

At the same time, we opened our own custom-made furniture producing company.

2016

Home Republic registered with Considerate Constructors Scheme and won our first National Silver award. This has proven to be one of the most important steps in supporting our long-term growth and business success.

2017

We established close working relationships with leading London architects such as Bluelime and RESI, which has allowed us to increase our number of significant projects to over 30 per year. We launched our new website after spending significant time and resources developing our policies, culture, business strategy and marketing approach.

2018

We got really busy! We delivered some stunning projects across London, significantly expanding our portfolio of luxury projects.

2019

We were thrilled to win our first gold award in the Considerate Constructors Scheme, and to win runners up position in the Most Considerate National Company in 2019.

2020

We continued building beautiful residential homes, embracing community and environmental initiatives, and working safely and steadily even through Covid-19 pandemic. Another Gold Award in Considerate Constructors Scheme reinforced our confidence in what we do.

2021

Our first luxurious Design & Build project was completed in Surrey Hills leaving outstanding impression on the area. Our commitment was reinforced by the Design Sustainability Award and Best London Bathroom Master Builder Award.

2022

Our turnover reached 5 million, we reconstructed a large community centre in North London to an impeccable level of detail and the highest specification. Our fleet grown to 7 high quality vans serving London and the surrounding areas, helping us maintain an excellent reputation.

We also improved and diversified our line of luxurious custom-made furniture and kitchens, which has been growing rapidly over the past few years.

In both 2021 & 2022 we became Best Sustainable Residential & Commercial Construction Company in London according to BUILD magazine — a major construction publication in the UK.

2023

We became National Master Builder Award winners in the category «National Company of The Year». The path to this remarkable breakthrough was marked by such incredible achievements as «Best London Commercial Project» & «Best London Residential New Build».

The Design department has been hard at work creating a range of inspiring projects across London. The construction team has grown to over 70 craftsmen working simultaneously on up to 10 projects of the highest quality. The office team has become the supreme core, leading the company into new markets.
