Our Remit

Home Republic was engaged by discerning clients seeking a comprehensive transformation of their luxury residence. The brief called for a modern, light-filled home that seamlessly integrated indoor and outdoor living, while respecting the existing property’s character and exuding an air of refined elegance. Key priorities included maximizing natural light, creating a fluid flow between spaces, and incorporating high-end finishes to achieve a luxurious and sophisticated aesthetic.

What We Did

The project encompassed a rear side extension, increasing living space and creating a seamless transition to the garden. This involved meticulous structural engineering and careful consideration of building regulations. The existing layout was comprehensively reconfigured, with non-load-bearing walls removed to open up the floor plan and create a sense of spaciousness and light. A stunning open staircase was incorporated, enhanced with bespoke pendant lighting to create a dramatic architectural feature. We incorporated premium materials throughout the renovation, including bespoke joinery, high-quality flooring, and a striking salt wall in the bathroom. Expansive glazing, including large windows and a dramatic skylight, were installed to flood the interior with natural light and showcase the beautiful garden views.

The Result

The transformation resulted in a truly exceptional living space. The rear side extension and internal alterations created a fluid and functional layout that seamlessly integrates indoor and outdoor living. The abundance of natural light, coupled with the stunning open staircase and bespoke pendant lighting, creates a bright and airy atmosphere. The incorporation of high-end finishes, including the striking salt wall in the bathroom, elevates the space, resulting in a luxurious and sophisticated residence that exceeds our clients’ expectations.
